Default How viable is... Druid Charmz?

They have a) snare and b) sow... no mana regen at this era. Anyone have thoughts on this? Obviously it's only going to work in certain zones, but I'd love to hear anyone else's experiences with it. I'm considering giving it a go. My charm experience is solely based on necromancer & enchanter, where both SoW & Snare are horribly lacking, but exponentially advantageous. Conversely, my druid experience only extends to using it as a port bot after pling. Would the lack of mana regen hurt the druid too much? Would I basically have to have a mana stone to make this work?

Oh, charming is one of the standard ways of leveling as a druid. They do it without any mana regen buffs at all. Things may be harder on Green with less-available gear and buffs, but I'm sure this will be happening all over Oasis and the Karanas and beyond.

Druid charm doesnt use your stats to calculate the charm whatsoever outside of level, so in classic animal charm is as good as it ever is. Only your manapool and skill matter

How do druids do with indoor farming ? omg I am so excited now. I was planning on slumping around as a necro but this could be the best of all my favorite classes

I would say its pretty fucking difficult with 6 hotkeys, no pet window and no charm break message on green. I tried it on beta, it seemed fine just challenging. I was only level 14, I am sure its gets better though. Also since I had no items it was taxing a bit on mana. Find yourself a duo partner and I bet it is really awesome.
