Default EverQuest Crash Notification - Please help!

I must be doing something wrong with my install... I keep getting this crash notification when I try to launch. It says "EverQuest has detected that your client may have crashed. It is often possible to determine where and why the crash occurred. Click OK to send this data back to the developers in an effort to help the stability of the game. Also if you have a moment, please enter details about what you were doing when you crashed."

I used a fresh install of Titanium downloaded from Steam (maybe this is my problem?) and placed in a separate directory on the desktop. I tried a fresh install again. Tried restarting. Same error each time. It won't get anywhere.

Running through the process to see if anyone can tell me where I'm going wrong.

Using a windows 10 pc.
Downloaded Everquest Free-To-Play from Steam
Moved the entire folder to desktop
Moved files from Project 1999 zip file from install guide
Overwrite existing files in game folder
Launch game using "Launch Titanium.bat"
Black screen and error message pops up...

Help!

The EverQuest F2P install from steam is not the Titanium version that P99 requires. Without going in to too many details I would suggest upping your sailing skill while looking for an iso.
