![]() I was just having this same problem. After all the router restarts and everything else i decided check and make sure i got updated files from patch. I don't know if it was glitch or human error but instead of overwriting and replacing files they were just gone. I extracted to a empty folder and copied and added to eq folder and solved problem for me. Hope it helps you out.

![]() Hi Svarien, would you please explain exactly what you did? Are you saying you re-extracted the files eqchangesv9.zip and uichangesv2.zip, from the "Getting Started, Project 1999" guide?

![]() I can play Everquest on another PC in my home network, an old single core computer, but still no luck on my original dual core PC.
I've also tried to get it to run on one core by making a shortcut to runfirst.exe with this as the target: C:\Path to EQ\EverQuest\RunFirst.exe "eqgame.exe patchme". Still same error. Any help is appreciated. | ||
