hey guys,
i wrote a little tool which checks the eq emulator webpage for status of the login server and the 1999 progression server... just unzip somewhere and start it.. as soon as the server-status switches from offline to online, you will hear "Game/Login server is up!" and the messages change.. its nothin but still usefull imho [You must be logged in to view images. You can also simply check the frontpage of the site, which informs the user whether the server is up or down, this takes several seconds.

You know how daddy always taught you to be careful on the internet? To not download suspicious things that could possibly contain viruses and other malware? I don't care if you play on p99 I'm never downloading that =p

you dont have to download it ... and for viruses there are things called ANTI VIRUS PROGRAMS ... i recommend AVG free for you ....
anyway .. im using it since i dont want to check webpages all the time .. im browsing / doing other things while this thing checks every couple seconds for me, and when the server goes on my pretty Windows (TM) voice tells me "SERVER UP!!!" and i log in .. vio la oh and if you are affraid its connecting to anything else then the webpage ... http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb897437.aspx <== TCP view is your friend .. oh noes, its downloaded of the internet .. microsoft spreads viruses! | ||
