Pet Weapon Question

Anything better than Forged Halberd for a level 15 SK Pet and around the same price or cheaper. Also, does handing him a torch help DPS?

I believe Torch forces dual wield only when the mob is at the level that it can duel wield, which is something around Lvl 20. I personally just use dual Gnoll Whips on my pets but then again -- I'm an enchanter and can get them back.
