Default what's the rule on...

Perhaps my board searching skills are weak, but
I couldn't find the answer.

What is the status of a camp when the group that is there wipes
or has to evac?

In the past two days, I've seen arguments about both. (I wasn't involved in either)

Some players are claiming there is a 15 min rule, that you have to make it back to camp. Others are saying it's an open camp.

My belief was it became an open camp. But I have some dim memory of reading about some kind of time rule...

Unless things have changed since last I checked, officially a wipe makes it an open camp.

With that said, watching a group wipe then swooping in to take the camp even though they tell you they are on the way back is a fairly douchey thing to do.

I think these are still the ones currently being enforced, but who knows.

There is a 20 min rule of a server crash to get your camps back. Other than that, if your group wipes or has to evac. It shows they can't hold the camp for whatever reason. And you lost all rights to it.

^ Rais has it.

If the server comes down for a patch, crash, restart...yaddayadda.....you have about 20 minutes to reclaim camps.

If you die, your client crashes, you lag out, you leave the camp, you do whatever that involes you not having claim to your camp...when you lose the camp.

This would get me to log in again. Though, I'm likely to log in anyway.

Sounds like you enjoy griefing too much. Maybe if you were the one being griefed then you might feel different.

Edit: Oh and saying it has happened to you doesn't make it ok (if it has). Two wrongs don't make a right!
