Issue with loading account/Game

I am having issues with loading into the game. I was able to play for abit before i changed zones and crashed. I haven't been able to get on since. My friend I was playing with came over to my house and logged onto my pc with his account and it worked fine for him but for some reason my account won't load. I sometimes get to the character select screen but can't log on. I created a 2nd account to see if it would help but I am still getting the same issue. ????

Update: I was able to get on after doing a new clean install but as soon as I zoned I crashed again. Also can't log in afterwards.

what zone?
have you removed the zone files you needed to?
have you removed your eqclient.ini file to regenerate a new one?
have you removed your character files from the eq folder?
do you have the v53 files?
what guide have you followed to install properly?

I followed several install guides. One from this site and few from people in the proj 1999 discord. I have replaced the v53 files many times. I haven't tried to remove the eqclient.ini file. Do i reinstall the patch to generate a new one after i delete it?
