![]() I have a level 41 bard that has leveled since 18 almost exclusively by AoE kiting. I play my selo's (singing) with a horn equipped and then I play DDD (Brass) until it ticks, then stop and start it again. So, my twist looks like this selo's > DDD > DDD, repeat. This should give 1 chance at raising singing skill and 2 chances at raising brass per rotation.
I began leveling my brass skill at level 18 when I got my first brass song and it is at around 137 currently. This seems a little low in my opinion. My singing skill is at around 180 even though it has multiple chances to level up every kite I do. I left my character afk a few nights ago for 8 hours straight while playing his invisibility song. He had his wind instrument equipped and if the song ticks every three seconds, I had 9600 attempts to level his skill in those 8 hours. He went from level 45 to level 170ish. This gives him an average skill up every 76 ticks. Does this seem a little off to anyone else? I cannot begin to add up how many times I have played my brass skill and had a chance to level it up, but only being at 137 is pretty bad. I understand that, as a bard, my int and wis are not very high, but my Iksar necro with 105 int maxes all of his spell skills out every level pretty quickly. In a whole night of kiting on my bard I might see 1 or 2 brass skill level ups. Thanks for all you guys do, this isn't detrimental to my game play, it just means I am going to have to spend a lot more time afk leveling my instrument skills, and it seems the rates are way too low. | ||
