Game Mechanics: in game error message while crafting fish eggs and making oil

Was instructed by my fav GM to post as much info on this as possible so...

When creating fish eggs using skinning knife and thunder salmon (I have not yet tried the other available fish yet) in the tacklebox, you get 2 fish eggs, 2 fish scales and your knife back.

6 out of 10 times you are successful without this error and all will appear as normal when you drop the items into your inventory when it occurs

"Error: Insufficient amount returned"

What has happened/happening is that one of the fish scales has been trapped on the cursor and is invisible. Logging out and back in will fix the problem and you will find the "lost" fish scale (1) on your cursor. I have tried to drop all the items after crafting on the ground so the cursor is empty and pick them back up, error still occurs, although all looks normal. Logging out and back will fix this as well and you find the "lost" fish scale somewhere in your inventory but it will not appear in a stack if you have one, it will be all by itself.

Second error: Fish Oil, 1 fish eggs + 1 water flask in a brewing barrel

You simply cannot do it. A normal style crafting message "You cannot combine these items in a container of this type" appears.
