Default Enchanter Pet - KICKING for 60 damage?! Bugged?

So my enchanter pet (level 55 Zumaiks Animation) is currently KICKING for 60 damage max that I've seen so far. That seems WAY off. His max melee is 57, so that hasnt changed, but his kicking is through the roof.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a bug?

Well it seems its due to the NPC change since pets are considered NPCs of course. It just seems odd, since I NEVER remember my pet being able to kick/bash for MORE then he can even max hit for.

There's a fine line between honesty and idiocy.

I saw my pet kicking and bashing for 60 and was curious if it should be like that or not, so i asked. Its not that big of a deal, if you're losing sleep over 40 or so damage you have bigger problems.

I'm calling pet protective services... you shouldn't be beating your pet until he's kicking and bashing! Floating swords and shields are people too.

I noticed this too, maybe this is to make up for the charm 'fix'... a whole extra couple of points while kicking or bashing

Enchanter pets are invisible wood elves, seriously. I used to play EQ on a Linux box a long while back, and a couple of times the video card glitched and it stopped displaying textures. I could see all the blank models and shapes underneath. My Enchanter's pet was definitely a wood elf. You could tell by the height, build and pointy ears.
