Default Your spell files are outdated??

Hello, this is my first time experimenting with Project '99, and everything went smooth all the way up to the character screen. When I got to the character screen, the character slots are replaced with your spell files are outdated, please visit project 1999 getting started forum and download the updated files, or something to that extent. But I had JUST done this maybe 3 minutes prior to logging in. Even still I redownloaded the UI files again, and put them in the uifiles/default folder, tried logging in again, and still got the same error messages. I don't see what else I can do. Anyone able to help? Thanks in adgance.

Yeah, this happened to me the other day for the first time. I'm not totally sure if it's related to WinEQ2...so my first question is, are you running that?

The remedy? Well, I just completely closed out of EQ and opened it again. After about the 3rd try, all was good.

Well I did what I should have first did, and that was search the forums for a similar problem. I found a forum with Duxa's installer, and I chose option 13 in that installer, and it fixed my problem. So this problem is resolved. Thank you [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Aye simply use that installer, or you can do it manually. But installer makes it way easier.

basically when they release patches they will usually update the spellfile. So this will probably happen again in a month or two.
