Default Orc Runner

In nektulos forest, the orc runner appears and runs along the road, pwning any and all newbs who get in his path. Additionally, the gate guards will not kill him.

The Orc Runner is supposed to be in the Butcherblock Mountains, not Nektulos. He was part of the Falchion of the Koada'Vie quest.

Also, the guards should probably protect those poor noobs if you're going to keep him around!

Another minor observation is that there are tree snakes WAY close to the city. The pathing on this server is definitely a little different. Confirm?

Just my first observation after 1 day of playing on the server. I love what you guys have done with this, and am referring you to all my friends!

Default Two Runners!

Hi,

I'm just coming back to EQ after too many years away, but I was pretty sure the orc runner in Nek was part of the original game, so I checked via Google. Sure enough Illia's Bestiary has complaints from newbies way back to 2002.

He was pwning noobs back then too. =D

Edit: Spelling R hard.

Wow, I stand corrected. I'm surprised, because I played a Dark Elf Shadowknight, Necromancer, Magician, and Wizard, and never got killed by the Orc Runner before.
