grouping levels?

I thought a level 33 was supposed to be able to group with a level 49 per the wiki page.

I can confirm that the level 33 is not getting xp with that group combo. The level 33 is doing at least 70% of damage to the mob.

Anyone else seeing issues like that?

Your math is right. I'll bet the problem is the mob you are killing is too low for the 49 to get exp from it.

For level 33 to group with a 49, the mob needs to be I think level 37 or higher, otherwise the mob is too low for the 49 to get experience, so it disables all xp gain by the party. Is that the case?
