Default Why is buying/selling items on p99 so difficult?

I get that there's no bazaar so things might take a little longer, but holy crap it's like pulling teeth. Me being unfamiliar with prices will just offer an amount only to get laughed at and ignored when I ask "well ok how much do you want for it?". One guy selling a granite bracer wouldn't even give me a price nor accept my offer. How can you expect to sell something without telling someone the price?! People expect to buy for obscenely cheap and sell for extremely overpriced, and will be rude to anyone in their way.

anyway that's my rant inb4 obligatory Cool story bro

People are retarded on this server, everyone is afraid of saying a price incase some guy offers more than they would say. Look up the auction.goonquest.com or whatever website to find the average price.

why do you even browse forums if 1 paragraph is too much for you to read.
