Default Ghost pathing in S Ro and maybe AC spawn issue as well

Game Mechanic Bug: I have confirmed among my fellow recent ancient cyclops campers that the 3 mobs on the AC path in South Ro "ghost". That is to say when they are up and pathing they will continue to appear to path beyond where they are supposed to stop. They aren't actually "there" beyond the path when they do this, but they cannot be seen. I did not notice this when camping AC months ago on another character and, like I said, some of my fellow recent campers confirm this as well. I even heard one report that if you kill one of these mobs while they are invisible you can't loot (which would suck, of course, if was the AC).

We depart a confirmed "bug" for a potential one:

NPC Spawn Issue (this one only maybe...): Anecdotally I am getting a number of folks telling me they are having trouble getting the AC to pop over the last week. Could you check on this. A number of people have put in some fairly fierce hours here to no avail (myself included with 5 hours on it yesterday). We might just be unlucky, and I did hear that Arrisard got a pop a little over a week ago, but I'm not aware of anyone's success since. I figure might as well check this while looking into the whole ghost thing and who knows maybe they are some way related?

Thank you.

I can confirm that the ghosting happens, though oddly enough not every time. I've seen some mobs path a few times just fine, and then all of a sudden they start ghosting on the next few paths. When all three mobs are up its easy to see one path properly and the other two ghost.

Not sure who you heard from that Arrisard got a pop "a little over a week ago". I was chatting with him while he camped the AC recently, don't remember the exact date, but it was only a few days ago, definitely not more than a week ago. He said it was doing it for himself, so I don't think he would have needed to camp it twice. Hard to say if the spawn is broken or not, haven't spent much time camping it myself.

Last Friday (July 1), yeah, I got him around 7pm EST, 9pm game time.

I'm back there again, accidentally destroyed the bag they were in. Apparently I had fast destroy on and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

EDIT: Observed the ghost pathing the entire time I was there, about 5 hours.

Confirmed when I camped the AC in SRO.

Also sometimes when attacking the ghosted mob the hp doesn't move.

Ahh, sorry Arrisard. I mistook what you said to mean last last Friday.

Now I see what you mean by the fast item destroy button comment the other day too. Ouch. That had to hurt!
