Default mage solo spots 54+?

my mage is 54, and it is getting ever harder to find a decent solo spot where I can make decent exp w/o getting my ass handed to me, seafury island is mostly light blue now, is BW giant fort my best option for soloing between here and 60 or are there other spots out there that I am over looking?

I assume you've already tried and nixed kc? I remember a lot of mages soloing there around the moat area and picking off singles from other people's trains.

What about BW around Chardok entrance? there are several spots with two static spawns. Can't remember what level they start to go light blue but might be worth a look.

Youll have a lot more success by finding niche old-world areas - that's what I needed to do because my monk on live had decent gear, but not great gear until later - and I wanted to solo.

Play around with various places in Lower Guk. You can probably find some good dark blue mobs to own in the live side keep, and there are safe places you can med/summon pet/etc.

My Monk did Lava Duct Crawlers in his late 50s, and they were far more consistent/reliable exp than grouping, although admittedly slower than a good seb group.

I've heard the animal pits near Vox's lair are good.

Also, there are some 40ish dark elf guards that are easy pickins in Neriak commons on the bridge which are all blue to me at 53. Dunno if they turn light blue at 54, but that might be a good, secluded place to hammer out 54.

At 57 the undead frogs in lord room in lguk are all blue and some of the dars are blue too. Hard camp to split as a mage though.

If you can get to the animal pit in perma the mammoths will carry you to 60. There are also giant spiders there that can be xp'd on.

The 2 assling guards just outside rivervale are blue and you have a zoneline feet away. Could focus one down, zone, then come back and take out the other at your leisure. Easy quest involving bandages to fix your faction again if you care about it.

If you can get a HS key, the entrance (once broken) is good xp for a mage. 2 roaming mobs that can agro you (will be either live sperms or undead skeletons) at zone in. Getting past them is the hard part. Once they're dead though there are 8 golems all around you which you can single-pull.

Raptors in TD will get you to 60, slowly.

BW Fort works all the way to 60, I left on my necro at 57 though because I got sick of fighting over the blue pops. Basically, noone would ever want to kill the light blues, so I'd do it. Then some jackoff druid or mage would just sit there and snipe the blue repops.

If MMORPG players were around when God said, "Let there be light" they'd have called the light gay, and plunged the universe back into darkness by squatting their nutsacks over it.

Permafrost pit is blue at 60. The mobs single pull and aren't overly difficult. Money is pretty much nonexistant and CR (if you're dumb) if gonna hurt. Watch out for the icy terrors.. just pull wolves/bears/spiders.

With the pet damage it may not be worth doing giant fort in BW. It's not that your pet can't handle it, but it's that you'll grab an add or two when chaincasting the pets that make it unattractive. Even with an inny staff and the 51 earth pet I was still having a bit of trouble chaincasting. Bear pits in perma are great and maybe even some solb or guards
