Deities and illusions in evil cities?

The bog-standard advice is go agnostic but some classes can't and some players may prefer to pick a deity for flavor or RP-reasons.

Question is, which deities will actually get your bum handed to you in places like Neriak, Grobb, Oggok and Paineel? Assuming you have an illusion like dark elf, AoN or somesuch.

Particularly curious about Karana, Rodcet Nife, Erollisi Marr, Brell Serilis, Mithaniel Marr, Prexus, Tunare, and Quellious. Some of you may already have figured out why I'm asking.

My Tunare bard on live was able to bank in Neriak with DE mask. RP and deity choice is much more important than not being able to hang out with orges and w/e tho

As bristlebane I’m not kos in any evil city with DE mask.

I guess bristle is neutral.

Going neutral or evil aligned diety will help your good race with the evil cities and won’t hinder you too much in the good cities.

Bristlebane is true neutral, it can be worshipped by every race that has the rogue class, and carries almost no negatives in the game. Its one of the few factions that has a net higher faction across the board in the game.

Solusek Ro and Veeshan are similar like this. Solusek is the highest net positive faction, gives you only bonuses in NFP and at Temple. No negatives anywhere else.

You were curious about:

Karana - Slightly neutral to good. Has some negatives in evil cities.
Rodcet Nife - Very good. Hated by Bertox worshippers and evils.
Erollisi Marr - Very good, Hated by Innoruuk and other evils. Slight bonus to solusek, as if it matters ;p
Brell Serilis - Good, but not as negative on the evils
Mithaniel Marr - Very good, hated by Cazic and other evils. Slight bonus to solusek, like it matters.
Prexus - Neutral diety, has few negatives
Tunare - Very good, hated by innoruuk and other evils. Popular for classes due to better gear and clickies for it. A strong powergamer pick.
Quellious - Good and hated by evils

Race has stronger modifiers then religion in most cases.
