Druid DOT issues

So I am new but I got the project 1999 client/server interface running pretty easily (the guide is great)

But I was off for a few days, I updated my spell files after the last patch (the login screen nicely tells me to) but no none of my Druid DOT spells work (ie Flame Lick)

When ever I cast them it always just says :

"you have been interrupted"

But all of the rest of my spells work?

I am only low level and having an entire spell line cut off is killing me...literally [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

any thoughts?

Sorry if this comes off as condescending, but are you moving while casting the DOT?

do you have a fire beetle eye in your inventory?

Flame lick requires a fire beetle eye to be in your inventory (only need 1, it doesn't get consumed).

Flame lick requires a fire beetle eye in your inventory, would interrupt it if you don't have one. If other spells are doing this then make sure you're not moving and you have food/drink.

That sounds right. It should give you a "You are missing a component: fire beetle eye" though, shouldn't it?

I forgot I don't have the Fire beetle eye anymore so that explains the Flame Lick problem (face-palm)

I will experiment with the others when I get home
