Default Deleveling from Meditate

I recently deleveled my Shaman Handsometoadie from 8 to 7, and now it seems when I sit my mana is still recovering at increased rate, but when I stand it will drop to wherever my mana was before I sat. I've logged in and out since then as well. If it helps, my med skill is still white in my skill list.

Just did, and all is fine again. Still hope this gets fixed though it would suck for someone who somehow lose enough xp where this could become a real issue.

Assuming you didn't de level on purpose? No reason for it on a non PvP server. I guess your skills don't drop on a de level so I don't think it's a bug since you earned 8 and whatever skill meditate was at because of that.

I think you've missed the point...

I too have been hit by this bug. The issue isn't that you cant meditate anymore... the issue is this

I lost my level because I lost a fight... So when I lost the level I was at 8% manna (not enough to cast a spell) so I sat down to rest up and regain my manna so that I could make a few kills and regain my level.

However every time I stood back up (even several minutes later) My manna bar instantly dropped back to the 8% I was at when I died and lost the level.

The temporary "work around" for this bug is to remain standing until you regain your level. which as you may know If you play a caster might just well mean 20 to 30 minutes between fights!!

You didn't have meditate before 8 so why would you magically have it at 7 after leveling to 8? The skill isn't EARNED at a level it's AVAILABLE at that level. Casters get it at 4, Priests at 8, Hybrids at 12. If you are not past those respective levels then you don't need to meditate. The issue really stems from that fact that if you want to sit down to regen your health faster you can't do that without wiping your mana. That does kinda suck but at that level dying doesn't matter all that much and grouping would be pretty dang fast anyway.

It's a client issue. This is why we took meditate off of trainers before level 4 and level 8.
