Default Game minimizes when clicking parts of the screen

Problem is as the title says. I can click most of the screen when in fullscreen but some sections when I click it will minimize the game. Anyone have a fix for this? I couldn't find a fix when searching the forums. Thanks in advance

Your client resolution doesnt match your PC resolution so in full screen it will have out of bounds areas that'll cause it to minimize when you click there

I think you should restart your PC

I think this is the main reason people recommend running the game in windowed mode. I personally use WinEQ2 and my client is mostly issue free.

I had a similar problem, it would switch from full screen to windowed mode if I clicked anywhere along the top of the screen. I fixed it by setting eqgame.exe compatibility to winXP SP2 and setting it to run as administrator. I don't know which fixed the problem, but I can now run full screen with no issues.

I have the same issue. I fix it each time I play by going alt-o, display tab, then hitting the fullscreen button, then going to the video modes button and picking my monitor's resolution. That fixes the issue for that play session, unless I alt-tab out again, then I need to do it all over.
