Game Mechanics: Monk Weaponskill Progression

Hello i have a little Problem here i bought a IFS 2 Weeks ago and than where going to Vacation i came back and hitted for alot less than before was wondering what happend i had very low 2HB skill before and it seems after the patch the max damge of the Weapon is linked to the Weapon skill is this intended ?
But now my real Problem after reaching 110 skill the skill gains are super slow like 1 skill every 20-30 mobs solo there is something in the patch notes over you changed monk weapon skill progression under 50 but iam not sure if it means that you realy slowed it down that much [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I remember before the patch i leveld and in the 5 min after ding i was maxed again.

Would love if some Dev could look into it or just tell me that its working like intended.

Monks were gaining weapon skills (1hb/2hb/h2h) a rate of 6 points per level for levels 1-20 instead of 5 points per level. So you're likely going to have to wait a few levels for your level to catch up to your skill.

The lower damage is probably due to a fix for the weapon damage caps for players under level 10 and level 20.

my bad i should have wrote this before iam level 45 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] was 45 the entire time of my tests.

and as my weapon skill raises so does my damage it was caped at 86 max damge with skill under 50 and now its back to 120 max damge with skill 120 and i didnt get a skill gain from the last 40 mobs it raises someday it will be 121 but with this speed i need like 5 levels to match my 1HB skill of 230 is this really intended ?
