![]() I don't know if this is a COM bug or a feign death bug, as I know that the feign death mechanics were modified a bit with yesterday's patch.
But in City of Mist, I feigned for a good 10 minutes (AFK'd and made myself some caprese, nomnom) after a pull on the second floor went horribly wrong, which should have allowed the mobs ample time to get back to their spots. Stood up, went to the zone line, hung out for a bit, and then the entire zone trained down to me. And I know it was my train because it was just me and two others in the zone and we were all sitting in the same place. Then, upon feigning to get rid of a single unwanted light blue fog golem, I stood up with no aggro, and the entire next room full of golems randomly came around the corner and killed me. So what gives? I understand FD is hax and it was tampered with yesterday, but for it to not work at all sometimes no matter how long you stay down?[You must be logged in to view images. ![]() I was under the impression that after 30-60 seconds of being feign death'd it would clear aggro.
"your enemies have forgotten you" This is not how it is currently working. Unsure if it is working as intended. Was in KC this morning and could not get aggro to clear off a 3-4 mob FD. I tried waiting 3-5 minutes and I still re-pulled the mobs creating a bigger train. | ||

![]() Yep, FD is heavily screwed up right now, been FD for 20 min. stand up and the mob ( that wandered 1/2 way across DL ) comes running back at me with w/e eles it agros along with it on its way.

![]() You people are aggroing roamers. No they won't forget you. Guess what, if you stand up while the roamer is by static mobs they will chain aggro and come too. This can give you the illusion a static is not dropping you when feigned when ACTUALLY the roamer you never /q'd from is reaggroing them.

![]() Fd is not screwed, it works as intended. What is not working as it should is how after the second fd on, mobs ALL instantly return home. That is beyond wrong.

![]() Actually it is not about distance. It is about percentage chances and static or roaming.

![]() Should be a 30% chance of the mob forgetting you instantly whether it is a roamer or a static pop. 100% when they return to their static location.
Roamers are debatable, I remember them not auto-forgetting until you got the 'your enemies have forgotten you message' and you'd have to FD multiple times until the 30% chance kicked in, or else wait for the message. While others claim they forget as soon as they resume their path. It is possible that static mobs aren't resetting because they don't truly reach their spawn location. It's not uncommon for mobs that spawn in locations that are on top of columns/hills what-have-you to not be able to path to exactly where they popped on the Z scale.

![]() I don't think the "your enemies have forgotten you" notification is even implemented. You were right about the roamers, whoever you were. Those seem to be the ones that can't forgive and forget no matter what.
I sat feigned in KC in the castle for a good 3 minutes and the roamer still got uber butthurt when I stood back up. Told all his friends too, the jerk. Well, balls. | ||

![]() FD is so screwed up. Unless you /q you can't lose agro from a roamer. All the rest doesn't matter how long for SKs or Necros how long we lay FD even if mobs are all back at spawn points. They still come back charging at you once you stand. Just put it back to how it was before the patch was still F'd up but wasn't as bad. If you want to have it like live then do this. Put it back to how it was with 30% chance to instant forgot. Then put in the saying "your enemies have forgotten you". Where once your agro clears you get that message. It is BS that we can FD to split mobs cause it has always been that way in live. If this is some sick joke toward class balance it is getting out of hand. I still think put everything back to how it was before kunark involving all classes. Cause it will never be perfect. Before Kunark i was able to solo as a SK now to fear kite a LB mob you use almost a full mana bar. If you put all class changes back to before kunark will solve all this and make alot of other classes happy. FIX FD PLEASE.
