![]() Before this last patch Overking was on a different faction than the rest of chardok, now he's on the same one. Was his first faction a mistake or was it just not intended for you to be able to pull him to zone in/out?
I guess I'm asking if his faction now is a bug or now it is 'working as intended' ?

![]() It's really sad that this just got fixed. This is one of the few boss mobs in kunark and he could be single pulled by a player non KoS to chardok faction to a zone out, for two months?
Are the royals still respwaning too fast? cause that would even make it worse.

I am not one to give out false information, I am not going to say something I dont know 100%, I would say that Stefen would know for sure. The only reason I say the spawn time is fast, is because back on live I never recall staying at the royals after a raid, we always left. Im sure after that rough break we would have stayed. I recall it being much longer between spawns, either 12 or 24 hours. But I cannot say for sure. I beleive in the patch from October 8, 2001 ( 3 months before luclin ) The royals were changed to 2 hour spawns. But there isnt anything proving it, other than the obvious fact that the zone was partly revamped. ** A Tale from Norrath ** Adventurers, glory seekers, and plunder-hungry knaves, A few new tavern tales have been circulating from across the Deep. It appears that strife and civil unrest have once again plagued the lands of Kunark. Stories of treachery and terror within the ranks of the Sarnak have spilled forth from the mountain fortress of Chardok. Only a few of the most cunning spies have made their way into the Sarnak hive during this brief time of turmoil, and their reports may have serious implications. The Brood of Di`zok seems to be more organized than before. Their leadership is becoming more structured... and much more brutal. Production in the mines appears to be increasing and soldiers have been amassing in great numbers. Other tales have come from this mountain fortress as well. Terror squads and interrogators have decimated the ranks of reported Sarnak traitors. These squads have been working under the leadership of one of the Sarnak Collective's newest council members, Korucust. It can only be presumed that this cleansing is another step towards strengthening the foul brood. These tales are hard to confirm, since many of your adventurous kind are prone to drink and to the occasional mistruth. If these tales are true, it would only stand to reason that new dangers may reveal new wealth and glory. Perhaps it is time for you to gather your best gear, finish your mug of ale, and head out to investigate. Also, please note I said raid. The royals should not be 1 groupable. Not even now, with everything we know. The Aoe's should be insane. King should not be able to be pulled solo, making the entire encounter trival. ( his faction was changed off of chardok faction in the July 10, 2003 patch that introduced Chardok B: THe halls of betrayal) This has been fixed back to his classic faction obviously, Thank you for this. However it is only part of the entire encounter of the Royals camp in Chardok.

![]() Since the Royals AE was fixed they have not been 1 groupable (as far as I know).
When we'd pull king to zone in it took us about 18 to kill him, though we didn't have all that many 60's. I'm sure with a full group of 60 with solid gear you could 12 man him and maybe less. They're about right as far as difficulty goes right now I believe.
