Stinging swarm less damage when kiting
I don't know if this is a bug, but it seems odd to me. Stinging swarm is supposed to do 13 damage per tick. And it does 13 damage when you are in melee range. But when you kite it only does 8.

All dots do 66% damage to targets that are not either: Rooted/feared/running away due to low hp. so basically if your mob is running/walking towards you, its only going to take 2/3 of full dot dmg. If u are in melee range, the mob is considered stationary and takes full damage. It's classic and working as intended. Sucks i know, because root/rotting isnt really viable for a druid til later on, maybe 34+.
