Default 760+ players still on even after the ban?

Maybe should of just suspended their ips instead of the accounts.

Maybe that was the reason for the ban, server was getting congested. Now lots of nice camps are open!

Ektar was on today =p

I'm willing to bet a lot of people are coming back simply due to a lot of the trash being filtered out (at least for 2 weeks)

How many player accounts are logged into over the course of 2 weeks anyway? I would imagine that number is much higher than the server population at any given time.

Didn't Uthgaard say there was like 20k "active" accounts?

365 would be less than 2%. I'm actually kind of underwhelmed, I would have bet higher for sure.

Think about it.

Of those 365 accounts not all of them are going to be signed in at once. At the absolute most, maybe 1/4 of them at a given time (about 90).

So you'd really only drop the population of the server by at most about 90. I did hear there were 20k active accounts, so it would probably be even less. 365/20k = 1.8% of the server. So you'd lose about 14 cheaters during prime time, assuming they have about the same play time/schedule as the non-cheaters [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Most of these people who got suspended quite likely already have another account which is available to use. It's not surprising to see the numbers remain pretty consistent. You would be mistaken to assume that the active server population would suddenly decrease by 365 users. The XP bonus is quite possibly also helping to bring in others who have been inactive but also as an incentive to those who were suspended to log in and play their alts (thus maintaining the server population). If I were running the server and was about to suspend this number of accounts, I would do the same thing.
