New to Game

Hello everyone,

I started playing EQ right around the release of Kunark and played for as long as my 11 year old mind could keep focus. After bouncing around between a lot of other MMOs over the last 10 years, I want to give EQ another crack in hopes that slightly more mature me will be able to appreciate it more. I do have a one question though. I missed out on being able to do my epic quest back in the day, are the epic quests implemented on this server? If not, will they ever be? This is by no means a deal breaker for me, I was just curious.

They will be eventually.

You picked a very good time to join, the pvp server will be opening in a couple weeks! You can start at the same time as everyone else, so not too many will have a huge level/gear advantage over you. And yes, epics will be coming.

What will the be PvP rules be? I never tried EQs pvp when I played.

Though some of this is not set in stone. The devs are looking at lowering the level ranger that pvp will be allowed, perhaps to +/-4 levels.

This is simply untrue! EQ pvp is the same EQ that the blues play, with exping and raiding and trading items and all.. there's just a little bit of extra fun thrown in, too! XD
