Question Who's Down to start a p1999 Weekly pub crawl?

I am weary of the current server situation. I know that these boards are not necessarily a good barometer (people seem to comment on here if they are either really pissed off, really really happy, or have something to sell), but I would like to propose an idea.

How about a weekly pub crawl?

I am pretty sure that every major city has a place to get libations. The wiki lists 12 bars that have the famous Norrathian poker paintings which would be a good place to start:

(from the wiki)

• The Blind Fish
• Bull's Pit
• Crow’s Pub & Casino
• Fish's Ale
• Golden Rooster
• Grub n Grog Tavern
• Lion's Mane Inn
• The Lumberyard
• Slug's Tavern
• Tassel's Tavern
• Tiger's Roar
• Toadstool (?)

So… Every week we pick a bar, show up there for a couple hours on the weekend, bring some extra cash, get game drunk (RL drunk optional), share some laughs, make some new in game friends. It’s not necessarily all puppies and butterflies – best way to get over differences is to get drunk and fight about it.

It think it would be awesome to crawl to EVERY bar in Norrath (have some high levels protect those "hated" by the guards). I am sure there are some I have not even heard of.

I would need some people to help organize this, since I’m pwned by work. It might not even come to that if you all think my idea is retarded.

Thoughts?

I'm definitely interested. More than anything I'd love to see these places jammed full of people! They're always so empty and lonely...

This would be amazing on Red99 if everyone unequipped their weapons and had hand to hand fights all along the way between bars.....

If real life allowed me to be there i would go. Sounds fun. And in my experiences pup crawls usually have some quiz things going on.
