Broken quest ruined the economy

There's a quest in Misty Thicket that I believe is accessible from level 1. You speak to Grutink in Misty Thicket and than bring a box to someone in Rivervale. The only problem is that the reward for the quest is up to 9 plat. Is this working as intended? There were a ton of halflings repeating this quest over and over. I thought this server was going for a classic vibe so I don't understand why this quest exists.

I don't think I had 10 plat in the original EQ until level 20+ but on this server you could amass a fortune before you even level.............

theres a forum for this stuff bro, if the quest is so game breaking put it in the bugs forum so you dont add to the exploitation by making it public knowledge =P

i didnt get to do the quest but big fucking deal, a few hundred plat isnt game breaking and is a reward for those who bothered to do research on the best way to navigate the newb levels.

Quest rewards should still be logged, everyone who used it should have a record showing exactly how many times and how much plat they gained. It could be queried out if it was really that big of a deal.

A PK troll who abused a plat farm mechanic to get all his spells during his low levels is no big deal! Not like leveling to 9 real fast and having all your spells helps you PK more people . No way bro! Stay classy
