Default Maybe go to 60% dmg in pvp?

This was they way pretty much every box has been. 80% seems way too much, especially for someone like a bard/cleric. I know that 1v1 all I can really do as a bard is just mez someone and wait for them to log out of frustration.

I've seen those SS's of wizards one shotting people for 888 dmg, essentially one shotting someone.

I could not see this server with a 150-170 pop lasting too long in Kunark. In all honesty, I have played almost every pvp box and only one that I played reached Kunark and it wasa ghost town. This box should have started with Kunark and Velious enabled. Probably would have retained a lot of people that way.

i am thinking of rolling a iksar sk/monk or necro on kunark. Which would be best?

I was gonna go Iksar Shaman, if Kunark ever comes around. We still do not have Sol Ro yet, so it will be quite a while.

The biggest issue with this server is the channeling. Because of this, those 6-7 second spells that do 80% of a players health, are near impossible to interrupt with knockbacks. I have watched people train and then gate away with 4 dark blue mobs hitting them, constantly.

In classic, when you saw a wizard casting Icecomet, you just had to run to them and hit them a few times to interrupt. On this server, your only chance is to zone, especially with 200+ CR barely denting the damage done from Icecomet.

What level are you? I solo coin people as a Bard on the regular (see my post in the Nihilum killshot thread - all of those were 1v1's or 1v2's. And that doesn't even include all the Nihilum/Holocaust members who /q out from pvp every time they see me and I'm about to kill them). If you're level 27 or higher there's no excuse for not being able to kill someone in a 1v1.

Back on topic, I do think that pvp spell damage is way OP at the moment - not impossible to deal with, but something that should be looked into. Successfully casting an ice comet on this server is pretty much gg in almost every scenario. However if it's accurate for the time period then I won't complain.

If you're not rooted, and see PVP coming, there's almost no excuse for being ice cometed ever in a 1 on 1 scenario.
