Default older char models

so i do remember there being an option to change the newer char models for the older or vice versus, a fresh instlal will have the newer ones on by default, is there a way to change it back to the older looking models, i just dont like how all my chars are facing forward and to the right, and sit like their drinking tea, i play a troll i want the gritty face and to slump down on my caboose when i die...[You must be logged in to view images. i cant seem to find an ingame option to change it, someone said its at the login screen but i didnt see any options there at all, i think maybe it was on the patcher and gods forbid,.. i cant remember where the option to do it is at -.-

Default found it -.-

2 ways.

Click on Options in the Launcher and unselect the models.

or open up eqclient.ini, locate

AllLuclinPcModelsOff=FALSE and change it to TRUE

I am actually wondering how to get the new player models to work. I just looked in my ini file and I don't see the line AllLuclinPcModelsOff=

When I start the game and goto options all the NEW models are select. In game its all the old world.

Any suggestions? Did I miss something obvious?

The server staff have forced Old models. The only thing they apparently haven't been able to force are the elementals, but the old headless/legless models are so much cooler than the demon things with swirls:

We were talking about the elementals last night by chance. Is it true to get the original models you can deselect something in Options before logging into a server?

Yes. There are two methods of doing this:

1) Open %YourEQFolder%/eqclient.ini. Ensure UseLuclinElementals=FALSE is FALSE.
2) After you have accepted the outdated EQ TOS, before logging into your account, select "Game Options", which will minimize EQ and take you to a menu similar to the one found here. Ensure Horses & Elementals is unchecked. Click OK and go back to EQ.
