Default Play on Live and P99?

Hey Techies,

Is there anyway for me to have a client to play on the now free-to-pay live servers and still maintain a client to play project 1999? I got some message from SOE saying my account status had been changed to Gold (whatever that means) and I wanted to log on and check out what type of gear i still had on live. I don't NEED to play both servers at the same time, but it would be cool to have the ability to switch back and forth. Thanks for your help.

Just have 2 clients installed in different places. Do NOT let either client overwrite each other and you cannot play both P99 (or any EQEmu for that matter) and Live from the same install.

ah, glad somebody asked this question. I am planning on doing the same thing. Would like to see my 70 Rogue again after 6+ years, but even more so, I want to play classic EQ back when it was great.

Ok, just so i get this straight.

I can set up my underfoot client in my F: drive and have my titanium client set up on C: drive and they will run fine independently of each other?

Not necessarily. The key is to have a different link for each. They can be on the same drive, just need to be two folders, one for p99 and one for live.

The p99 link must be changed such that it doesn't go to the patch server. The live link is left as is.
