We're trying to find the best method of keeping the time synced or an alternate method so this won't be an issue.

Yeah, thanks for taking away my undead camp [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. Gave so many Tainted/Ruined maces and Tainted swords to noobs, and was better xp than solb. But mostly it wasn't as godawful boring as solb.

The undead will still be there, but just for like 35 minutes at a time right?

Yes, they just won't be up the entire time now. The zone goes undead in the evening (7-8pm game time) and they despawn at 6am. Then the zone is live again with the newbie mobs and quest npcs.
