Game Mechanics: Dot / Feign Death Aggro

I realize this was "fixed" so when a PC dots an NPC and FD's the next tics don't put the PC back on the hate list. Does this now also work in reverse?

I was on my 60 necro in Dreadlands. I feigned while a spider was casting on me. His cast landed and I was dotted with Stinging Swarm. Assuming my feign would now be broken I stood up to run a bit before I could recast FD, but the spider just walked away and aggro had been cleared.

I haven't tried to reproduce this yet.
