Default Original armor textures

I doubt this is a repost, but sorry if it is.

Is there any way to restore the original character models, do they still exist? Some may remember that when luclin launched, sony not only implemented the luclin character models, but also modified the appearance of the original character textures (i.e. half-elven plate helms lost their "visor", and some of the artistic features of other armor changed as well - particularly plate).

My question is, do these textures still exist? Is there a way to modify or remove certain files to opt-in to using these textures? and to devs: have you any prospect of restoring them in the future?

replace the texture files with the old texture files "could" do it, worth to try it out (if you have the old files or know where to get them)

Yeah, i feel that i'm on the other side of this debate. I would rather see the new textures and models, since i know what the old shitty ones look like and never stayed for th e new ones. i now have a god like gaming pc and can more than handle the new textures.

In reference to the Half-Elf/Humans plate helms losing their visor I think this happened around Velious. Also added ink blot looking spots on armor as well on the Eye of Zomm.

Good question. Should be possible by changing out the right s3d files. Problem is, some of those are environment and some are characters. Not really sure which ones would be the right ones. Maybe Secrets could chime in [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
