Adding nektulos(a).emt to your list also restores the sounds as you approach Lavastorm from Nektulos and eliminates the water sounds meant for the newer versions of Nek. It might be a good idea to update the list of files to remove when setting up your client for P99.

Doing so also restores the hum of power to the Minor Spires in Nektulos.

It simply can't be in your EQ folder anymore. Whether that means you delete them, change the name, or just move them to a back-up folder. So long as it isn't in the EQ directory it's fine. I would recommend making a backup. Don't just delete them.

Already told you how to get combat music. It's listed above. There's no way to get it to cycle through all the MIDI songs, it only plays one of the MIDIs. This isn't fixable without client moficiations.

As for "EQ Role Appearance" Am I to assume you're trying to get the original style of the character select screen back? You can't. That too, is hardcoded. To revert it back would require client modifications. If you're looking for the music that played during character select? Removing eqtheme, as I already listed above, also forces that MIDI to play.
