Default Waking Kerafym

Why not modify the encounter so that the entire event respawns after the warders die and he goes on his rampage?

It was awesome on Live, sure; nobody really knew what the effect would be. On Tallon Zek, I seem to remember Pandemonium using this as leverage aginst their opposition, so it makes sense on the PVP server. But in an environment such as this, one in which all of us know the score, what is the point in allowing a tiny fraction of the then-current the player base the ability to take that experience from the rest of the people who play, or will play, on Project 1999?

What is the harm in the entire population farming avatar weapons until the end of time? There will be no new encounters to break in a "next expansion." The waking of the sleeper really is the end of the line for raiding on this server.

Thoughts, opinons?

I think the sleeper is a good test of the maturity of a server. For instance the sleeper was never awakened on Firiona Vie while I was playing. Even though the top guilds didn't really like each other they had no intention of denying loot drops to the other guilds within reason.

I'd expect the sleeper to last a couple of weeks on P1999 with the mindset of the raiding guilds here.

But that means you might have the same or more pixels than me? How will I feel better about myself if I'm not better than people who can't devote 60 hours a week to this game?

I think this is an excellent idea and how things should be done. He only has to rampage once and doesn't need to again. Maybe just make it so one of four warders is unkillable after the fact.

Do I think this will ever happen? Sadly, no.

I haven't actually seen the post myself, but I've seen several posts from people who said dev's will reset sleeper.
