Spells: a dark reaver proc

I believe this proc is supposed to overwrite buffs it does not stack with, including stronger shaman buffs. I'm not sure which all buffs it is not supposed to stack with, but a shaman in my group buffing was causing this weapon to 'Your spell will not take hold.' I had him stop debuffing and it continued.

Alla post, which isn't classic but it's pretty close and I'm pretty sure it wasn't changed.

I was a lvl 11 troll Sk, hunting the tyop of guk one day, and a Pally I believe gave me a Dark Reaver, and now i am 45 I have had alot of weapons,but all of them were 1hs, peircing and hunting HIGH mobs i dont like to start a new trade. and I have been using this Dark Reaver since, Its not a BAD weapon, and my guildmates tell me to waves it over the destroy button, but hes my thing, I want to b the only SK to hit 51 with a Dark Reaver, I will probaly do it) /btw it procs at lvl 30, siphon str +25 str, it kinda sucks to have a Uber shamen buff u to 221 and then the sword procs and u r back to 179..lol

Also, it was updated in 2000 according to same alla page to be usable for Iksars.

It HAS been updated. Although I haven't seen it with my own eyes, I was about to buy one and the guy who was selling it to me said it was usable by Iksar.

There is currently problems with this sword's buff. At times if I've had a buff that buffed str (shm) and it wore off, the sword would NOT proc until I logged out and back in to clear my "buff list" I suppose.

The sword does not stack with the shaman str.

I have not seen that problem before Kainzo, but I know this weapons buff is supposed to override even stronger STR spells. A few posts on Alla talk about how it sucks to lose a 49 SHM str buff when this thing procs.

Haynar not sure - when it won't proc it says 'Your spell won't take hold.' So I'm guessing it won't even debuff the mob. I often manually take off whatever STR buff I have so I can keep debuffing the mobs.
