Are you part of the 1%? Are you working on some VP weapons for your 5th alt? Do you think sitting at the pained soul for 80 hours is for peons?

I have all 3 medallions (well I haven't done Niblek's quest yet, but I can do that easily) on my warrior. I did the camps while LFG (and Iksar Warriors spend a lot of time LFG) in the hope of sneaking in to pick up some VP weapon rots, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen (blah blah TMO are evil bastards who won't share their cookies blah blah).

I'm not really sure how much this kind of thing is worth, so I'm just going to let this float for a while. If I don't get a reasonable offer I'll just keep the medallions and pick up some stuff in Velious.

There was a rotting random weapon on a corpse at entrance in VP. I was told in vent it was rotting and ok to loot by another guild's leader. At 13 seconds before corpse expired, I looted the weapon. The next day, I got suspended for a week by Amelinda when we were contesting trakanon. So as far as dreaming about one day looting VP rots, think again. Loot Denial, Inc.

My actual plan Anthrax was to buy a trak tooth mq (the other way around lol) and some loot rights - I was offering 75k for two aggro weapons and 100k for a full set. I talked to Eccezan and TMO wanted 250k. I think a) they still have quite a few alts and b) they don't want to sell teeth that might in the end be used by FE.

It's sad to see so many VP weapons rot, but TMO is making the rules in VP at the moment. I also think the epic might be better for tanking at 60 anyway. The VP weapons are great aggro for leveling but mallets make that less important and the epic also comes with great hp/resists. Plus it glows!

Got 4 PMs just overnight on this, so I'm trying to work out what a fair price for this is. I'm thinking roughly:

Pained Soul 12 hours
Rotting Skeleton 6 hours
Verix Kylox 6 hours + 6 friend hours
Other random shit 6 hours (running all over the place incl Timorous Deep etc)
Niblek's Gem: 2500

So thats about 36 hours total. If we call it 1k/hour (fair i think. Personally I'd rather be farming the fungi king for 5k/hour every 30 minutes than watching TV and killing the pained soul every 6:30 or whatever. I'm kind of sad this whole VP thing didn't work out of me) then that's just less than 40k.
