Default Permafrost bear pits

How the F**K am I supposed to get into these solo? Excuse the language! Just died at the bear pits and have no way of retrieving my corpse... deleveled so back in hell level too.. rage /q.

Would appreciate any help / advice in retreiving a corpse there or how to get in there undetected. Thanks.

Best way I have heard of is to train to the pits, bind as fast as you can then succor/egress to zone line and zone out. It isn't an easy task, that's why there isn't always people down there. The dangers of getting there is supposed to be paid off by the exp you get once down there I guess /shrug.

I got to the pits and attempted to camp but the train reached me at 15 seconds to go... not sure how this is possible unless there is an exact spot that screws their pathing up long enough to pull off

in hind sight I should have bound at the bottom ate the death and /q before it reloaded me out and then log in loot up and grind the exp back

Looks like you get to wait for the next raid.

Have a friend make a level 1 cleric. They Divine Aura and train to one direction while you get in and camp safely.

Still might be able to drag your corpse from above. Z axis is ignored with the /corpse command, that's how I got my corpse out of Bear pit. I just stood near the pit and typed /corpse and there was my corpse. If you ran away, then it becomes more complicated, you would need the /loc of your corpse. Sometimes, I have run around just clicking my /corpse macro and found my corpse.

Current plan: run into perma drop into pits, bind then WC cap, but a question is it safe to bind right at the bottom of the drop?
