Flash Floods

Howdy. Don't know if yall have seen but 12 or more people have been found dead after a severe flash flood in central Arkansas. This particular river doesn't normally flood and hasn't been over 5ft in the last few months but last night it went from 3.5ft to 21.5 ft in less than 4 hours, about 4inches per min. With that rate of rise those poor souls were pretty much doomed.

Don't know how many of yall canoe and camp and such but i do often and this is something i usually don't consider but should, flash floods can happen anytime any place, so please keep this in mind and plan accordingly when setting up your tent/camp.
