Hello! How can I help? [New Player Introduction]
Hello, my name is Jouissance. But you all can call me Jouicy. I play a level 9 Cleric and started on the server just 2 days ago. I have been very impressed withe community and effort that drives this project. You are all an amazing group of talented individuals and have inspired me to make helping Project 1999 my number 1 goal!
First, a bio...(skip this paragraph if your a narcassist [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] or just want to get to the point) I played Everquest from Velious - LDoN and quit for WoW. I still play WoW but am slowly becoming more addicted to Everquest again because of project 1999. I have a level 80 priest named... Jouissance on Wildhammer where I am the class leader of a guild called Creeping Doom. (not that you EQ-ites care but if any of you play on Wildhammer here is an armory link: Jouissance) I raid in WoW and raided in Everquest back in the day. I originally played EQ on the Tribunal server as a Ranger. I reached 65 and stopped there. The community is what really stands out in EQ and in project 1999. I have longed to go back to classic EQ as it was one of the fondest gaming experiences I've had and as such I would like to do whatever I can to keep the project going. I have experience with XML for EQ UI modifications, web design for assistance with websites etc, I remember a good bit from my original experience with EQ so I've started working on the p99 wiki (which is quite nice i must say [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]). The purpose of this post is not just to introduce myself, however. I would like to ask the community what else I can do to assist p99? Is there a place for donations? I cannot offer much money but I can offer time and effort. Also, I have an interest in the coding portion of EQ so if there is any maintenance or bugs I can help debug I would love to try. ITS GREAT TO BE BACK IN NORRATH!!!!!!!! tl;dr - Hello, call me Jouicy. Nice to meet you too. I'd like to help the project. I can code, started on the wiki, what else can I do?

I played on Wildhammer and remember Creeping Doom... I was Antiquus, a Feral Druid, in the guild BlackSun during the Burning Crusade Era... nice to have you here!

The wiki desperately needs help, we've got a lot of incomplete or missing articles there. But it sounds like you might be better suited to technical stuff, but that's up to you. Help in whatever way you enjoy, it's all appreciated. Oh, and there is a donate button on the project1999.org homepage, top right of the page. OK, ill get started on both of those things!
Perhaps a data-mining operation for the wayback archives for the wiki, id be good at that.
