Thing is, a pure count of 830 isn't the complete picture. We don't know how many of those are people 2-boxing (I know it's "not allowed", but I haven't heard of what checking they do before allowing IP exemptions, and I know I've seen some two-boxing going on), and we all know that a lot are level 50s sitting AFK in whatever raid zone is due up next, and are liable to be playing on another account to pass the time.

It's still awesome though.

1000 is the perfect number for classic. With Kunark it will be confortable, by then we might have 1300 - 1500 ish which would be ideal !

I think there will be A TON of people coming back to the server who have been inactive.

I could picture p99 hitting 2000 when Kunark comes out, depending on how many more new people join the server from now till then.
