Really can't pick a class.

Bit of my history. In EQ from 99-04 I played a Warrior and rogue. Loved it, but too simplistic for what I want now.

I'd enjoy tanking. I rolled a paladin, but they just seem god awful, not getting any real aggro spells till 30. I know on live they're decent but it seems like they're just horrible until later expansions.

What are Shadowknights like? In demand? Decent in these early expansions? I never had much experience with them.

My other possible choice was Bard. But I seem to see a toooooooonnnn of bards and I know that can lead to a miserable time finding groups later on.

Just looking for a little wisdom in general here I guess, what's decent, what's overplayed, what will keep me able to find groups pretty regularly. 1999 was a long time ago to my old brain [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] thanks in advance.
