Default Is it possible to change weapon models in P99?

What I mean by this is, is it possible to swap out a weapon model in the P99 files for a weapon model from a different era and have it display correctly in-game? Such as a Sword of the Bloodsworn model on a Noctivagant Blade?

To you only, of course, not other players.

yes since the models are read locally you can modify what is displayed.. people have modded out kunark to avoid the trees, etc.

How can I do this? Is there a guide or something? I've looked in my EQ directory and can't find the folder that has all the weapon and item models.

The models would be in the files in the main EQ folder.

There exists no such folder in my EQ directory. I am using EQ Titanium if it's at all relevant.

ActorEffects
Atlas
AudioTriggers
backup
EnvEmitterEffects
help
Logs
maps
RenderEffects
Resources
Skins
sounds
SpellEffects
storyline
uifiles
userdata
voice

Those are all the folders in my EQ directory.

.s3d is the extension, I guess it's those individual files in the main folder that'll need working over.

Okay, the question is which ones are for weapons and how do I change them?

If you manage to do it without any bugs, make a zip file and release them for the community, you'll be thanked for it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
