Default Official quake plans?

Could we please get an official line on the number/frequency/randomness of quakes?

Clearly they are not random currently which is the prerogative of the staff but if this is the case then we can start doing stuff like spawning multiple nobles, etc.

Currently, any guild with a Monday-Thursday sky raid has not seen a noble spawn in sky in almost a year.

I really don't see Rogean sitting there thinking "you know, I could tell the players my plans for quakes, but I don't feel like it ... wait!!! One guy in the forum started a thread!?!? Now I'll tell them!"

But hey, he has been more active on the forums lately so ... best of luck.

I'm not talking about a quake schedule but just what the intentions were.

1-2 a month on the weekends is fine but if that is the case then I would love to know that.

No I know, but my point is ... I think Rogean already understands that the players want this information.

I was trying to suggest that there's likely something else keeping him from telling us (like they're working to figure something out first internally). It seems unlikely that he is ready to tell us, but was just waiting for a player request to do so (which implies that it's unlikely this post will change anything).

it's quite possible that they legitimitely have to bring the server down 1-2 or more times a month at green launch to address any issues, perhaps they anticipate no need for quakes for a while (plus, for the first 3 months there are what, 3 mobs to quake?)

Quakes are very good for competitive health of the server. As it stands now, Riot can kill pretty much everything in a repop cycle that they want barring bad luck on spawn timers.

In a Quake, everyone gets something they want. Plus quakes themselves are fun. And tracking mobs for 24 hours straight is not fun.

Also, tracking 7 day repops is not something we really did in classic.

Even though it'd mean less loot overall for my guild, I'd like to see 4+ quakes a month just to see some better competitive balance. Could be totally randomly timed too, as long as it's happening often.

Yeah give us 4 euro quakes per month. Like USA has it atm!

Lets see what usa playerbase of p99 will think of competition hahahha.

Do you guys to the west realise for each of this EST primitime quake that happens when all Euros normally sleeps effectively locks us out from raiding for a full week? -fear golems, Zland and trak.

I have long been an advocate for more quakes. Quakes are fun and everyone gets to have fun.
