 | Hmm, I just figured that maybe the things they can engineer might offset some of their disadvantages. Are there any race/class combinations you would recommend for someone kind of just starting (again)? | ||

 | Not a warruor if your coming to the server alone. If you have friends and can field a group then it would be fine otherwise play a enchanter, wizard, necro, druid, mage, shaman. Something that can solo relatively easily without needing super gear. | ||

 | Yeah, I see where you're coming. I started a Mage on the server a couple months ago with my (now) ex and some of his friends. I just can't relate to the spellcasters though, you know? I'm more of a figheter! I'll push and shove and claw and bite until I've beaten my enemy! :P Maybe I'll try a hybrid out.. thanks for the help! [You must be logged in to view images. | If your going hybrid, I suggest going to the p99 wiki and looking at the exp penalty section under game mechabics. It has all the race/class exp penalties listed. SK can solo well once you get fear. If you have 2k kicking around and want to play a pally get a ghoulbane. Pallies can solo undead well. Edit: I hear ya on the caster part, I am a melee kinda guy. I have a 40 druid and I hate it. I started a SK lol. | ||
