Unhappy Can't Get game to start

First time trying to get p99 to work, long time EQ player from long ago. Anyway, i've tried just about everything i can think of and every suggestion i could find on here and no luck. I checked out the dbg file in my folder and it reads as follows:

2019-09-28 18:17:19 Starting EverQuest (Build Oct 31 2005 10:33:37)
2019-09-28 18:17:19 Timezone: UTC-6h00m
2019-09-28 18:17:19 Loading graphics DLL.
2019-09-28 18:17:19 Parsing INI file .\eqclient.ini
2019-09-28 18:17:19 INI file .\eqclient.ini loaded.
2019-09-28 18:17:20 Unable to load EQGraphicsDX9.DLL (126)
2019-09-28 18:17:20
2019-09-28 18:17:21 Initializing timers.

I've tried turning off my firewall and starting and i get the same thing. I also cannot for the life of me find the eqclient.ini file anywhere on my computer, not in the EQ folder or in users/app data. Nowhere.

Open to any suggestions, thanks. I'm running windows 8.1

Make sure your antivirus didn't quarantine the dsetup.dll It shows up as a false positive because it uses themidia encryption
If you know how you can add an exception for it.

Uninstalled McAfee and still getting the error.
As far as i can tell windows defender is not quarantining the file.

Hi there, I am using McAfee antivirus. Is the only way to do this reliable to disable my protection, perform the extraction, then re-enable? I went into my quarantine and restored the file, then when I tried to run the LaunchTitanium exe my McAfee re-quarantined DSETUP.DDL.

Thanks!

Good point. It is in settings under "Real-time Scanning". You can add files to exclude from the normal scans (which would occur when you attempt to run a program). Adding the DSETUP.DDL file to this excluded list and then re-downloading and extracting the patch fixed the issue.

Thanks for the kick in the butt!
