Default Mega Man

So being a Playstation fanboy I got Mega Man 9 and 10 for free as a Playstation Plus subscriber. They were some of the hardest games I've ever played and were the first Mega Man games I've played in at least a decade, and the first I've ever completed. I love the idea of this series though, being able to select what level/boss you want to challenge and taking the bosses' powers.w

I'd love to continue the series, but the PS Store only has Japanese imports on it. This isn't necessarily a deal breaker since there's not much text you need to read on there and I can read some Japanese if needed, but does anyone know where to find some emulated versions of these games? I'd greatly appreciate any help!

Google playnes or nesplay, is java web-based emulator, should find all of em ranging from 1-6 there (7 was on snes, 8 on psx1). Downloading actual emulator always has the downside that you get access to save states and usually end up taking the easy way out spamming those!

Proper platform games for the hardcore, love the series... never touched the PS2 ones, seemed weird seeing them available on a non Nintendo platform [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Megaman Zero games are equally difficult if not harder, I think I had Megaman Zero 2 on the GBA and loved it... so difficult but enjoyable [You must be logged in to view images. When I was a little boy I lied and told my friend I owned an NES just so I could borrow his copy of Megaman and gawk at the box art and the instruction manual.

It feels good getting that off my chest.

If you really like the megaman 2 music, check out bit brigade on YouTube. This band plays the full soundtrack to somebody doing a speed run. Bad ass!

Liked Megaman3 soundtrack heaps more, the game itself is heaps worse than 2 though.

Megaman 2 is among the easiest games ever made. I absolutely love the game, though. Nothing like running through it in under an hour without using the teleport exploits and shit.
