![]() I have a guildmate that was foraging and he was able to forage up the vineclinger berries - these arent supposed to be in...
http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=939 this quest isnt until velilus! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] also Ulrich Mc Mannus's family assist him if he is attacked, on live they didnt do this.. seems to have odd resists for his level, and his run speed seems to be quite off, I remember him being a heavyset armor filled barbarian that once snared couldn't run at all! he keeps up with sow, even with dooming darkness casted on him, this isnt good. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Also giants and griffins seem to be a way too common spawn in the commonlands and in oasis, it seems like every single time i zone they are there... it was semi-rare to find them in oasis, but often, and quite rare to find two at one time! Also oasis: pumas swim and run through the water, and spawn there too! :0 didnt know they could swim also on live servers when you took an item off of an npcs corpse that item would dissapear - if you loot a sword off of an npc and there is something else on the corpse, the sword still appears to be on the corpse... (this wasnt the case on live) not sure if it can be changed.. East commonlands vendors are still assisting tolus and reskin upon attack, and inn 2 guard reskin is killable but inn 1 guard tolus is 100% magic resistant (they were both non-resistant to magic in 1999) Also: East commonlands spawned asps, by the dozen... http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?zone=463 - the bestiary is the same still in the new commonlands... and the map should be disabled, east commonlands isn't a starting zone.. Nektolus forest: the undead camp on the right when you zone in from east commonlands: the spawns used to be skeletons, and less leveled - I've noticed that nektolus literally has nothing for level one dark elves, I had to go to east commonlands to fight without dying. I also noticed a bug the other day (sometimes happened in classic too) the phiranas either pathed or agrod us to the shadowed men camp and were swimming on land, attacking us as if it was the water, maybe take a look at the pathing on these [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] - and as always, per all newbie zones via project 1999, there are not enough mobs to kill! there are a few snakes here and there but not nearly enough for a starting person to find without running clear across the zone! Cordelia Minster in north karana and all npc bards are playing songs, I can't find proof that they werent but in 1999 the bard npcs never played songs, and most of them spawn holding a loot, this isnt the case and have yet to see cordelia drop her mandolin

![]() Yeah, and they can forage Rathe Berries, Marr Cherries, Canyar Nuts, and find Misty Acorns as well. All of which have valid classic uses. Only reason I'm not listing the rest is because Kunark isn't out yet.
Doubt anyone is going to be handing these in without being able to go to Wakening Lands. There are several hundred Mandolins on the vendors beside Misty, she drops one, but Cordelia doesn't. Quote:
There are 2 or 3 sand giant spawn points in Oasis, there was always a Hill Giant in WC that patted along the zonewall by befallen. How many giants you see up at any given time depends on the number of people killing them, which at anything other than prime time on this server will be low, except for the AC in Sro. The griffin in WC I believe shares a spawn cycle with a few other mobs, with a large newbie population, people running from the portals to EC, and everyone killing the werewolf for his pelt, you're likely to see it up more often than on a live server. I followed your bestiary link and clicked on the "a griffin" entry. First post elaborates on this.
