Default Have the AC changes gone live yet?

Yes, this post is out of frustration, so just humor me.

In Oasis, just got fully buffed up by a nice high level druid. I'm twinked myself, have about 30k in gear (I'm a druid, but with gear and buffs I sit at about 400 AC at level 13).

I run up to a yellow-con Deepwater Caiman. Its max hit is 34 damage. Here is a log of its hits against me:

I believe someone posted a link about how AC works and the usable amount of AC on casters is much lower than a warrior. It was something like... up to 400 ac on warriors is true AC, anything past that is half ac.. so if you had 600 AC, you actually only had 500... but something like casters only had 100 or 150 usable..

I'm sure I am wrong on the numbers, but not necessarily how it works. Though, it can't be confirmed that's how it works here.

So, your druid is going to suck at tanking no matter how much AC he has.

And, no, the AC revamp has not gone in yet.

Yea....wow Cogwell didn't think about that. Because no one on EQ has ever twinked a character. And no one has ever taken a twinked character and engaged anything that wasn't blue. And certainly no one has taken a twinked character, with a lvl 50 druid hp buff, regen and thorns, and killed anything that conned greater than blue.

Ditto on what President said. 400 is well over your AC cap for level. In other words, the AC fix isn't going to affect you much when it does go live.

Ok well that makes sense then. Didn't realize priest classes were so vastly unaffected by armor, but that definitely gives me a different outlook on gameplay decisions. Thanks for the info.
